Village SOM Driving School
Village School of Motoring was founded in 2002 by Lee Walker after two very successful years with a previous driving school. When the school started we hit the ground running by being the first driving school ever to use the BMW mini as a driving school car. This made us the stand out driving school in the Hull area and coupled with an excellent pass rate with a top grade instructor, this was a recipe for success. 13 years later and countless passes, we are back in mini’s and keeping a hold of the standards and philosophies that have kept us a first choice for many happy customers. Moving with the times we now use iPads for teaching and showing teaching videos. This allows us to email the pupil all the lesson notes and diagrams so they have the notes to help them jog the memory for the next lesson. We always stride to offer the best in training and interaction with your driving instructor.
We always strive to give you as much information as possible when it comes to helping you on your way to passing your driving test.

So you’ve passed your driving test, what now? Well a pass plus course is a short driving course covering subjects to a more advanced level. You will cover roads that may not have been covered in you lessons, including country lanes, inner city driving, night time, bad weather and the “dreaded” motorway driving. There’s no test at the end, you just need to show competence on each subject. As an added extra most insurance companies recognise the pass plus and could offer up to 30% discount.
